BFSA are big believers in the advantages offered by grass roots, face to face training as the only way of truely engaging with people, and therefore ensuring that our life or death message can be conveyed. Let’s face it, we are still hunting for our unicorn! (the Warden who actually WANTS to be at Warden Training!) General disinterest in the fire safety message is common and most of our attendees are doing so out of obligation. This precursor sets many of our participants up to tune out, or switch off before they even walk through the door! We believe that engaging and dynamic training sessions are the best way to combat this phenomenon.
However we at BFSA are big proponents of using technology, where it can be used to aid in efficiencies and ultimately save time and money and promote practicality. This may mean using an online or webinar delivery method for those in remote locations, for new Wardens who take up the mantle in between a building’s scheduled training engagements and/or for keeping upskilled where face to face delivery methodologies aren’t reasonable or practicable.
We offer webinar capabilities, and wholly site tailored online training options across the breadth of our training products. We also offer a flexible delivery option for each site, conducting 1 session per year electronically and 1 session face to face to make the most of the efficiencies and practicalities each methodology offers contemporaneously.
